CASA of Adams and Broomfield Counties

Organization Description:

CASA of Adams and Broomfield Counties recruits, trains, supports and supervises community volunteers who advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children who are involved in the court system. CASA volunteers review social service, court, educational and medical records; interview parents, foster parents, teachers, relatives and other relevant professionals; and most importantly, meet with the child or sibling group who they advocate for on a regular basis. Volunteers then prepare a detailed, objective court report with their recommendations for the judge and other parties to the case.
