CASA of South Plains
CASA volunteers are trained and court appointed to investigate, monitor, report, and serve as advocates for abused and neglected children. CASA volunteers work to ensure their basic rights and essential needs don’t get overlooked or ignored by the system. A child with a CASA volunteer is half as likely to spend time in long-term foster care as one without a volunteer advocate. And when that child leaves the system, he or she is much more likely to stay out of foster care. Permanently.
CASA of the South Plains recruits, trains, and supports a diverse community of volunteers who advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children.
