Organization Description: 

CIVS is a development organization supporting community-based development in Kenya for more than 10 years. CIVS supports community-based programs by integrating micro-finance and enterprise services into health care (including child survival, water and sanitation, and HIV/AIDS), sustainable market-oriented agriculture, emergencies, rehabilitation and peace-building. CIVS strengthens the capacities of local community organizations to carry out all aspects and stages of program activities by providing technical and managerial support.
