Center for Women's Ministries

Organization Description:

The Center for Women's Ministries is a non-profit organization that provides free peer Christian counseling for women. Our ministry is staffed completely by volunteers and is funded by donations. Our counselors do not hold professional licenses but have gone through a 7 week training provided by the Center before they are allowed to counsel. We go by our slogan, "We've been where you are." Each counselor is able to use her difficult life experiences in order assist someone else that may not be as far along in the healing process. Our hours are Monday through Thursday 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, however, appointments can be made for the evening on a case-by-case basis.
