Charlotte Eagles Soccer Club-Missionary Athletes International

Organization Description: 

MAI uses soccer to train sports ministers and do sports ministry. In Charlotte, NC there is a professional men's soccer team and a women's high level amateur team. The team setting provides a unique environment that combines excellence in soccer, authentic community, ministry involvement and spiritual growth. The team environment also provides opportunities for participants to live out what they have learned by loving and serving others through the sport of soccer in communities nearby and around the world. Finally we send trained athletes and coaches to be a resource to churches, schools and other ministries.
