Chinese Christian Herald Crusades

Organization Description:

Our parent organization, CCHC, was established in 1982 to make known the love of Christ among the immigrant Chinese community through action and to teach Biblical values through literature and seminars. The objective of the Chinese Christian Herald Crusades is to reach the Chinese for Christ through community service as well as evangelistic efforts. We employ a two-prong approach to achieve this goal. The Chinese community is a collective body of individuals. By actively seeking contact and establishing friendship we hope to bring the Gospel to each of them. With ?building up a clear Christian witness? as our banner, we also want to approach the Chinese Community as a whole. We express our Christian love to them through evangelistic events and confirm biblical values through literature and other media.

The vision of the ministry has been to strategically minister to a multi-generational population. The departments of CCHC work collectively to develop the family unit of our clients. We minister to all age groups in the tri-state area who have Chinatown as its focal point of employment, residence or education.

CCHC has five cooperative departments: Mass Media, Community Services, Literature, Evangelism and the Herald Youth Center. In addition, we have branch offices across America and in Canada. Our Herald Monthly newspaper is distributed worldwide with 17 editions.

CCHC opened its Flushing Annex in February 2003 to serve the growing population of Chinese immigrants in Flushing. The annex is a result of a unique partnership between CCHC and over a dozen churches to develop outreach programs for the community.
