Chrisitan Care Hospice
Christian Care Hospice is a small but growing program located on the campus of Lakewood Village Retirement Community in Fort Worth, TX. The program serves residents of the community's Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Healthcare Center areas. Residents who live in private homes and nursing facilities located throughout Tarrant County are also served. We serve adults of all ages and their families that are living with a terminal diagnosis. The majority of our patients are senior citizens, however. Hospice provides the services of nurses, aides, chaplains, social workers and volunteers, all under the direction of a physician.
Christian Care Hospice ministers to patients as well as loved ones as they come to the end of their life. Effective pain and symptom management affords maximum comfort and quality of life. Spiritual, emotional, and physical support enables the patient to live the remainder of their days as fully as possible and loved ones to experience peace and healing during and after the event of death.
