Mission Statement:

Christ in the City is a holistic service program that combines charitable works, Catholic spirituality and educational advancement to train college-age Catholics how to be missionaries in the United States in keeping with the teachings of Jesus Christ and the Magisterium of the Roman Catholic Church.

Organizational Statement of Faith:

CIC incorporates traditional Catholic spiritual formation as the missionaries live in Catholic households whose schedules include daily Mass, Liturgy of the Hours, weekly lectures and holy hours, monthly days of reflection and quarterly retreats. Without a solid prayer life, the lifestyle of a missionary is incomplete. We are all called to be saints and this rigorous yet life-changing spiritual component will help in this endeavor.
