Our website serves the greater Redding area. The home page provides basic information with regard to our site, it also spotlights upcoming Christian events, and provides an opportunity for local business recognition; all linked to the main body of the site.
The Church directory welcomes all in the name of Jesus Christ and provides a web page for each church, mission & faith based nonprofit organization in our community at no cost. These are searchable by denomination or alphabetically. Their page gives them the opportunity to have greater exposure with specific regard to location & contact information also providing a brief history or bio, the aims of individual ministries, times of service, with links to their own web sites; and more specifically the opportunity for a personal message or witnessof the work of the Holy Spirit, correlated to a biblical source.
The events page provides an easily accessible central location for all local Christian events, posted at no charge
Church members compile the business guide, in as much as they provide recommendations whereby they recognize and acknowledge merit that they have personally witnessed. Businesses are only included by recommendation.
Our aim is to provide a trusted guide to local business as recommended by church members. Their review's along with the church they attend are included within the text of the related business page/feature, this is then linked directly back to the church page from where the review originated and exposes the reader to the personal message that is integrated within the church page information; thus enabling an opportunity for reconciliation.
The Church list is a dedicated page of Church related classified ads and Christian community notices (posted at no cost) that serves to enable the growth of the Kingdom of God by establishing contact between the church and the community.
The links page provides a variety of links that seeks to provide an easily accessible source of useful information related to both spiritual needs & everyday living within our area.
Compassion in Action is a list, of a growing selection of web pages and links to local nonprofit organizations & information that provides for various needs within our community. This we believe provides an easily accessible form of reference to both community leaders and the public in general.
To establish a benevolence fund from proceeds provided by the business guide that will directly benefit other local Christian nonprofit organizations that seek to empower the spiritually disabled and the forlorn by providing financial support that will aid both the physical and spiritual needs of the community.
Christian Living Solutions is a faith-based organization designed to increase and enhance spiritual awareness by promoting fellowship within the church, local businesses and the community. The Christian Living Directory provides a central location of relevant and inspirational information, which serves the community and glorifies God.
Christian Living Solutions online portal (www.christianlivingdirectory.net) is proactive in demonstrating the two greatest commandments and, in so doing serves the local church and the community by providing Key Factors that ultimately work together and glorify God. These are:
1) A platform for the church in the greater Redding area, united under Jesus' name: more than a directory, a compendium of Churches, including a collection of a variety of works, various messages and personal testimonies that give witness.
2) To create another opportunity to take the Great Commission into the 21st century by embracing the technology that He has provided.
3) The Church List, a dedicated page of Church related classified ads and Christian community notices that serves to enable the growth of the Kingdom of God.
4) To provide a one-stop comprehensive & accurate calendar of all the Christian Events within our community.
5) Too spiritually, enable the community by providing a Business Guide that recognizes and acknowledges merit as witnessed by local Christians, which integrates an opportunity for Reconciliation.
6) To provide a central location (Compassion in Action) for nonprofit organizations & information that seeks to empower those in need.
7) To flourish, grow, and with God's providence help provide funds that will empower the spiritually disabled and the forlorn by providing financial support to Christian nonprofit organizations that meet both the physical and spiritual needs of the community.
We believe that Jesus Christ was the son of God, is God, conceived by the Holy Spirit born of a virgin (Luke 1:35), was crucified for the sins of mankind, was resurrected on the third day, ascended into heaven, and is coming back soon to rule and reign for evermore.
We believe that as the result of the fall of Adam, we are by nature sinners, dead in trespasses and sin. We can be only justified by grace through faith in the finished work of Christ on the cross, to receive redemption through his blood.
We believe that the only way to eternal salvation is through personal belief that the blood of Jesus is all sufficient for the penalty of sin and an acceptance of Him into your life as Lord and Savior.
We believe in salvation by grace alone, and that salvation is immediate and eternal upon acceptance of Jesus as a one time sacrifice for your sins, and not obtained through any works, sacraments, traditions, church membership, or merits of our own.
We believe that once we have received that grace of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, that we are forever held in the palm of His hand. Because our salvation is dependent on Him alone, we can never lose that salvation.
We believe that by baptism we confess our faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and testify of our death to sin and of our purpose to walk in newness of life. It is by immersion in water, and is an affirmation of faith in Jesus, and evidence and confession of repentance of sin. It is an outward symbol to the world, and an inward symbol of our faith, not necessary for salvation, but a commandment of Jesus that all believers should follow.
We believe in the Trinity: That God The Father, God The Son, and God The Holy Spirit are three Persons present in one God, infinite, eternal, omnipresent, omniscient, omni-judicial, and omnipotent, forever worthy of worship, adoration, and service by the whole creation.
We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Godhead who convicts and calls sinners to repentance. He regenerates, indwells, fills and seals the believers in the body of Christ. That Christ baptizes believers in the Holy Spirit according to Acts 2:4. This is the experience of every believer, and we immediately receive the Spirit upon salvation.
We believe that the Bible in the original manuscripts is the inspired Word of God, inerrant, authoritative, and accurate in all matters that it addresses, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness. (2 Timothy 3:16)
We believe that those who die without Christ will have to endure an eternal and conscious existence in infernal agony, regret, and suffering God's wrath, in Hell.
We believe that immediately upon death, the soul of the believer is absent from the body, and present with the Lord. That means no 'soul sleep' and no 'purgatory.'
We believe in the second coming of Christ for His true Church, in the resurrection of the righteous to everlasting life and the commitment of the unrepentant sinner unto everlasting punishment.
We believe in the Supreme Lordship of Jesus Christ, before whom every knee in heaven and on earth will bow, and that there is no other name under Heaven to approach the one and only true God, except through Jesus Christ, the one and only mediator between God and man.
