Church World Service

Organization Description:

The Church World Service Immigration and Refugee Program helps newly arrived refugees who have been forced to flee their home countries and have been offered the opportunity to start a new life of peace and dignity here in the U.S.

Through hard work, determination, and the support of the Church World Service community, individuals and families who were once without hope are discovering the means to transform their lives. In partnership with local faith-based groups, community partners, and individual volunteers, CWS works to build a hospitable community in the United States where refugees find the tools and support they need to create a better future in their new home.
