18.History and Background
City of Refuge was founded during a period of 10 years of laboring in the Spirit. Through aggressive prayer and intercession. It derives her name in Number 35 and Deuteronomy 19.
Deuteronomy 4: 2 and you shall not add to the words which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you vs. 15, 16, 20 "Take ye therefore good heed unto yourselves for ye saw no manner of similitude on the day that the lord spake unto you in Horeb out of the midst of fire
Hebron was one of the six cities of refuge that has beset aside in the land of Canaan for those who have been slained by the enemy. The previous name for Hebron was Kirjatharba. Arba was the father of the Anakim. A race of giants. Anakim means long necked. Though the warlike appearance of the Anakim had struck the Israelites with terror in the time of Moses, they we nevertheless dispossessed by Joshua. After Kirjatha Arba was taken in, the chief city became possessed by Caleb. The name of the City was called Hebron. Hebron means society, friendship, relationship, community an institution, an alliance, to be in union with two families by marriage. Hebron was situated amongst mountains. In a narrow valley surrounded by rocky hills. It has two or three entrances in the city and was surrounded by sea, just like Ocean View and our valley.

The significance
We therefore believe that we aught to function as a spiritual refuge camp, a spiritual clinic, a place of restoration to those who have been slained by the enemy through drugs, family destruction and abuse. City of Refuge will be the house of God where people are to be restored and send back into the community to function effectively. We will make strong emphases on relationship building and family that will be reflected within our house churches. We will be a community of believers that will make a difference within the community and surrounding areas. This will be a place of equipping and effective foundation laying. We will commit ourselves to fight against the giants of our communities that are reflected within drug addiction, family destruction abuses and community reproach.

19.Comments
We have a lack of man power to develop the concept so we appeal to all volunteers to come and use this opportunity to enjoy our culture and country to help us in the City of Refuge and Bright Idea Project(s)
We therefore welcome all who would like to make a contribution to the establishment of our Christian
Organization for the furtherance of the Kingdom of God.
