Cityteam Ministries
Cityteam is a nondenominational Christian non-profit serving the poor, the homeless, and the lost in local communities in the United States and around the world. Since 1957, Cityteam has been serving people in extreme poverty and helping them transform their lives, their families and their communities where they live. Today with the help of volunteers and donors, Cityteam is impacting the lives of over 500,000 people each year just in the United States and helping hundreds of the thousands of lives in partnership with local leaders in 48 other countries around the world.
Cityteam compassionately reaches out to one person at a time to help meet their immediate needs and introduce them to the hope that only God can provide - so they can truly transform their lives, their families and their communities.
Our mission at Cityteam is to passionately transform the lives of individuals, their families and communities locally and around the world. Cityteam trains and equips local believers to meet felt needs, engage families with the Bible, and establish communities of baptized believers. The heart of God is revealed as the hands of His people meet the needs of the Lost who are living in poverty or struggling with addiction. Often hurting people need to feel God?s love in a tangible way before they can truly hear and understand it.

WE BELIEVE the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
WE BELIEVE that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
WE BELIEVE in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in the virgin birth, in the sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
WE BELIEVE that for the salvation of the lost and sinful men regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
WE BELIEVE in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life.
WE BELIEVE in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: They that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
WE BELIEVE in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
