Organization Description: 

CAN - Uganda is a non-denominational christian non-governmental organization founded by a number of christians from the varied denominations and registered to operate nationally under Regn.No 5914/6730 with a vision to have spiritually, socially and economically transformed and developed rural communities considering that the majority of Ugandans still live in rural areas(80%) without safe and clean water, poor medical and health care, lack adequate funding for education, lack awareness on food security, every house hold stricken by HIV/AIDS scourge leaving many children as helpless orphans and in abject poverty.

CAN -Uganda was formed to try to bridge the gap by addressing the causes and trying to find both long and short term solutions to the problems in order to improve on the living conditions of the communities through deliberate programs and projects on health, child sponsorship, community sanitation campaigns and awarenss, HIV/AIDS prevention measures, et al.
