Community Helping Hands
Our ministry is three fold.
The first is to provide no or low cost clothing, furniture and household goods to low income people in our Depot thrift shop and furniture showrooms.
The second is to provide job skills training and work experience to those required to work for their public assistance benefits. They work in our thrift store, showrooms, sewing room, warehouse, furniture truck and family center. All are supervised by Christians and mentored by Christian volunteers.
The third is to provide a fun, safe place for the youth of our community to gather in our family center, with indoor skateboard and BMX bike park, the game room, Alpha Caf© and a venue for concerts both youth and family oriented.
Community Helping Hands exists to help meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of people while showing them the love of Christ as we equip and empower them to help themselves and others.
