Community Reach Mentoring Program has vitalize young people and parent involment for over forteen years, by enhancing the self-esteemm and self-image of the youthful participants, and to encourage them to take personal responsiability for their future. The process develops and understanding of self, fosters a healthy development of personality that can literally alter the direction of their lives The results ofparticipants in the existing project have been expressed by parents, teachers and volunteers. Changes include increases in academic performance and motivation and commitment to teceiving higher education. Participants develop an "I can do it attitude". Parents develp hope and a different outlook toward young participants. Successful completion of this program has renewed and vitalizes the participants and families also surrounding communities as well.
