ConeXión Mosaico

Organization Description:

ConeXión Mosaico is a non-profit umbrella organization that works to engage urban slum dwellers in becoming dedicated partners in reducing poverty, violence and corruption and building healthier cities. We equip the urban poor to become change agents in their own communities and churches, while we work towards the holistic transformation of urban slums by living among the people we serve, sharing life, practicing hospitality, and pursuing multiple strategic community initiatives.

We employ a multifaceted strategy in order to holistically address urban poverty, based on a solid working theory of transformational change. Our overarching goal is to develop a reproducible and sustainable change model for holistic urban transformation which can be adapted, reproduced and multiplied by other civic organizations, social actors and faith communities in order to build communities where God?s Kingdom of Shalom becomes more visible.
