What We Believe
1.About the Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative written Word of God. 2 Timothy 3:16
2.About God
We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19, Colossians 2:9
3.About Jesus Christ
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, vicarious and atoning death, bodily resurrection, and ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His bodily future return to this earth to rule a thousand years. Luke 1:26-35; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
4.About Salvation
We believe the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ. Hebrews 9:12
5.The Holy Spirit
We believe regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely necessary for personal salvation. John 3:5-7. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:4. We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling, the Christian is enabled to live a holy life. Ephesians 4:30, Galatians 5:13
6.About Eternity
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation. 2 Thessalonians 1:9, Romans 6:23
