Craig Shields Foundation

Organization Description: 

Each year the Craig Shields Foundation hosts a back to school event-"Community Cuts for Kids," at the Herbert Hoover Boys and Girls Club, Monsanto YMCA and The Lessie Bates-Davis- Neighborhood House (Mary Brown Center), in E.St Louis, IL. Volunteer barbers and stylists offer their time and skill to provide fresh haircuts and hairstyles for school age youth. As supplies are available, youth are also given backpacks, school supplies, snacks and beverages. There is a host of entertainment, information, giveaways and photo opportunities for the entire family to enjoy.
