Crossover International, Inc.

Organization Description:

Crossover International is an organization that takes American athletes overseas to play basketball against international competition. This presents an opportunity to share the gospel since competition can prepare them to want to hear what Crossover has to say. The tours include basketball clinics during the daytime that will include Bible studies. This gives Crossover the opportunity to reach out to the youth on a personal level building long lasting relationships with them. In the evenings Crossover competes with other international teams using the opportunity to witness at halftime with dramas, music, and testimonies. After the tour, Crossover follows up with the youth ministered to by plugging them into a well established church in their area.

Mission Statement:

The mission of Crossover International is to use basketball as a platform to expand GodÂ’s Kingdom by sharing the good news and love of Jesus Christ and building solid relationships with youth around the world.

Organizational Statement of Faith:

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, only infallible, authoritative Word of God. We believe that there is one God eternally existent in three persons: The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, and in His personal return in power and glory. We believe in the resurrection of the saved and the lost: the saved to the resurrection of life and the lost to damnation. We believe in promoting unity within the Body of Christ.

Crossover International is nondenominational, and works with all denominations. We receive direction, provision for all our needs, and motivation directly from God and His Word to take the Gospel to the world.

We strive to maintain servants’ attitudes. We dare to dream as big as God dreams for He is on our side and with Him nothing is impossible.

We strive for excellence in everything we do and we demand uncompromising quality of ourselves.
