Crosspoint Christian Church

Organization Description:

In 2001, God started Crosspoint Christian Church to empower the body of Christ, to grow in love and unity. Crosspoint Christian Church is the result of the hand of God leading the way just as He led the Israelites through the Red Sea

Crosspoint Christian Church is committed to follow God's word. We serve, love and proclaim the name of Jesus in all areas of life; We welcome you, we invite you to our worship service on Sundays, prayer nights and other activities that will allow you and us to learn more about God and most important, to have communication with Him through Jesus Christ

Worship - When we worship God, we strive to honor Him by living a life set apart from the world. When we worship God, we are recognizing His inexpressible, indescribable, and infinite worth. Like the angels in heaven, all true worshipers say, ??You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power??. True worship not only recognizes the worthiness of God, it rejoices in it.

Revelation 4:11

Intimacy with God- We intend to devote ourselves to meditating on the Word of God, to fellowship with the Holy Spirit, to communion, and to prayer. Jesus said: ??I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.??

John 15:5

Godly Character- We desire to seek after God??s holiness and righteousness in our lives. ??Therefore as God??s chosen people clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.??

Colossians 3:12

Discipleship- We believe in mentoring and encouraging people to grow in the Lord Jesus Christ, equipping them to joyfully overcome the pressures and trials of this present life. Believers need to constantly examine their thoughts, words and actions in accordance with the Word of God. We should always be ready to give testimony for the hope that is within us and disciple others to walk in His way.

1 Peter 3:15 Luke 14:25-33

Evangelism- We believe that lost people matter to God, and therefore, ought to matter to the church. We believe that evangelism is not the responsibility of a select group, but that authentic relationships can provide the opportunity for any believer to lead another to Christ. We want our primary focus to be people and obedience to the Great Commission, not programs.

Matthew 18:14 Luke 5:30-32 Matthew 28:19

Serving- Jesus came to serve. As Christians, we are to model our lives after Him in our service by washing each other??s feet, especially those of the poor, widows, and orphans.

Matthew 25:40 Luke 14:13 Romans 12:13

Mission Statement:

Crosspoint Christian Church will impact the Greater Worcester region with GodÃ??s love in practical ways and build a family of believers that rejoices as we point people to the Cross and beyond!

Organizational Statement of Faith:

Crosspoint Christian Church is a non-denominational church, which believes the Bible is the true Word of God given to the world so that we may all know Him personally. God is ƒƒ??the Creator ƒƒ?? who sent Jesus into the world to save us from our sin, and to lead us into an eternal relationship with the Father.

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life ƒƒ?? John 3:16

Our salvation is received from hearing the Word, believing that Jesus is the son of God, and that He died for our sins, confessing, and repenting of our sins, and then being baptized into a life changing relationship with Him. New believers receive ƒƒ??The Holy Spirit ƒƒ?? to bring peace and power for living in a sinful world. Christians are then to personally grow in their relationship with God and with others while sharing ƒƒ??the good news ƒƒ?? to this world as we await Christ ƒƒ??s return.
