Deaconess Anne House - A Member of the Episcopal Service Corps
We are a young adult service corps dedicated to providing passionate, skilled, and hard working individuals to serve as interns for not-for-profit organizations in St. Louis. Interns accepted into our program live in intentional community together, attend classes structured to broaden awareness of social issues, work for 32 hours a week for local not-for-profit organizations, and undergo a program of spiritual formation and leadership development. Through our curriculum, members develop a spiritual base that brings forth a life of compassion and service. They learn the skills that equip them to bring life-giving changes to individuals, communities, churches, and businesses.
We are the St. Louis chapter of the Episcopal Service Corps
Building and Strengthening Community Forming Compassionate Leaders Treating the Needs of Others as Holy Working for Social Justice and Positive Change
We are a ministry of the Episcopal Church and hold to the historic creeds and doctrine and liturgy as found in the Book of Common Prayer. We do not require Episcopal membership to join Deaconess Anne House. We welcome all professing Christians.
