Dominion Kingdom Family Ministries exists to Build Kingdom Families to Impact the World. " And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion… over all the earth." "…in thee all the families of the earth will be blessed." Genesis 1:26, 12:3 Our entire team is committed to teaching and empowering people with tools to be successful in their daily lives, with relevant and contemporary Ministry.
We believe that each person has a God-Given purpose in life. We seek to provide people from all walks of life with kingdom principles, so they can walk into their destiny in Christ. We will provide practical and contemporary ministry that is relevant to all people. We seek not only to impact the city of Canton, but also the world through the lives that are changed by this ministry. Our focus is to live out our motto “Building Kingdom Families to Impact the World.”
Our Statement of Faith
God
We believe that there is only one God who is manifested in three persons; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (1John 5:7)
God the Father
Is eternal, unchanging, Faithful, and omnipresent. Full of wisdom and might. He is the Creator and Sustainer of all things. (John 1:1-3, James 1Cor 8:6)
God the Son
Is manifested in the Person of Jesus Christ who; was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died for our sins, rose from the dead for our justification, and he is coming back again to receive us unto himself.(Isaiah 7:14, Hebrew 4:14, 1Cor 15:3-4, 1Thes 4:15-18, Col 1:16-17)
God the Holy Spirit
Is a helper, a comforter, a teacher that dwells on the inside of all those who have received Jesus Christ. He will guide us in all truth and assist us in our daily Christian Walk. (Jn 16:13-15, Jn 14:26)
Salvation
The word salvation comes from the Greek word Soteria. Which is to be rescued, healing, safety, saving, deliverance, morally or physically. Man was fallen after sin occurred in the Garden of Eden and God ‚’s plan to reconcile man back to him was by sending us a savior in the person of Jesus Christ to die for our sins and purchase our healing, deliverance, and safety, and destroy all the works of the devil, (Matt. 1:21,John 3:16-17, 1John 3:8). And only by confessing him and believing that God raised him from the dead can we be saved. There is no other way to God But through Receiving Christ. (Romans 10:9-10, Jn 14:6, Acts 4:12)
Faith
We believe that Faith is the bridge to access the supernatural. (Heb 11:1). It is necessary for Salvation, (Romans 10:9-10, Roman 5:1-2,Eph 2:8), It is imperative in the daily walk of a believer to accomplish the Plan of God on this Earth and walk in victory in every area in life. (2Cor 5:7, Habakkuk 2:4 Mark 11:23-24). And it is impossible to please God without it. (Heb. 10:38, 11:6).
The Bible
We believe the bible is the foundation of Faith. (Romans 10:17, John 1:1-2) It is the inspired word of God. (2Tim 3:16). It is The Truth that sanctifies us. (John 17:17) And if we stand on his word God will honor it, because it is the only thing God holds higher than his name. (Psalm 138:2).
Baptism
Water Baptism
We believe in water baptism, and that it is the outward display of the inward regeneration that has taken place in the life of the person that has received Christ Jesus into their heart. (Romans 6:4, 2Cor 5:17). It is and should be a part of a believer ‚’s journey in Christ. (Eph. 4:5)
Baptism of the Holy Ghost
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Ghost as a benefit promised in scripture to those who receive it. (Matt. 3:11). It provides power, boldness and the ability to speak with other tongues as the spirit gives the utterance. (Acts. 1:8, 2:4, 4:31)
Healing
We believe that physical, spiritual and emotional healing is a benefit purchased by the blood of Jesus for the Believer. (Isaiah 53:5, 1Pet 2:24). We believe that God wants us to healthy and have wholeness in every area. (3john 1:3, Psalm 30:2) We also believe that by the Holy Ghost we have the Power to lay hands on the sick and they will be healed. (Mark 16:17-18)
Marriage and Sexuality
The Bible defines marriage as exclusively the legal union of one man and one woman. (Titus 1:6, Matt. 19:5-6). Therefore, Dominion Kingdom Family Ministries will not recognize, perform, or condone any marriage between individuals of the same gender or between more than one man and one woman. The Bible also teaches that legitimate sexual relations are exercised solely within marriage. Sexual activities, such as, but not limited to, adultery, fornication, incest, homosexuality, pedophilia and bestiality violate the teachings of the Bible and the Church, and are sinful and incompatible with Christian behavior. (I Corinthians 6:9-10; Leviticus 18:22; Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:26-27)
