doorsofhope

Organization Description:

As some members of 'Doors of Hope' were preaching the Gospel door to door in the villages of Masaka District, Kyanamukaaka Sub County and Kabonera Sub County we found so many orphans living with their grandparents. Their parents died as a result of Aids/HIV. The elderly people couldnt support the orphans and widows couldnt help themselves.

We also found some families which although the parents were alive but poverty was the climax as a result of the wars: The war in Rwanda displaced so many people who came to Masaka - Uganda as refugees, raising the number of people yet few jobs, thus creating poverty and healthy problems. We decided to start up a Community Based Organization (CBO) called 'Doors of Hope in order to bring Hope to these people who had become hopeless.
