Emmaus Homes
Emmaus Homes is a faith based, nonprofit organization providing around the clock services to more than 275 adults with developmental disabilities in the St. Louis metropolitan area. Our mission is to help our clients live as independently as possible in the community of their choice.
As we continues to expand our services into the community, we remain focused on continuing our 120 year tradition of providing high quality, faith-based services to adults with developmental disabilities.
Today, Emmaus serves clients in more than 70 homes throughout Franklin, Warren, St. Charles and St. Louis counties.
Arising from faith in Jesus Christ, the mission of Emmaus Homes is to enhance the quality of life for adults of all beliefs who have cognitive, intellectual and other developmental disabilities.
Our goal is to help our clients live as independently as possibly in the community of their choice. Our Core Values are at the heart of Emmaus Homes identity and guide every aspect of our work.
At Emmaus, an individuals spiritual life is an important part of ones journey to fulfillment and independence. As a mission of the United Church of Christs Council for Health and Human Service Ministries (CHHSM), Emmaus takes pride in our faith-based heritage, and strives to help each of our clients participate in the faith community of their choice. Ordained ministers and seminary students help guide and encourage our clients of all beliefs in their spiritual pursuits.
