Engaged Community Offshoots, Inc

Organization Description:

With the generous support of Prince George’s County, The Maryland – National Capital Park and Planning Commission and Kaiser Permanente, our new Offshoot Farm Network will produce sustainably grown vegetables, fish, honey, and mushrooms through interdependent and intensive urban farming in Edmonston, MD. In our agricultural model, replicating a healthy ecosystem, waste streams are converted into inputs and used multiple times to produce multiple products. This is the case with our compost, vegetable, and aquaponic systems.
