The Fairy Godmother Project of Music City

Organization Description:

The Fairy Godmother Project of Music City began in 2010 as a grass-roots organization to assist students in the Nashville area who are unable to purchase their own prom attire. Students must bring proof of enrollment to receive prom attire that will make their dreams come true.

This is our first year and we hope to continue to grow this project through the support of community members and businesses who can donate their time and resources by cleaning out their closets, spearheading dress drives, and assisting students at our shopping day.

Mission Statement:

We are still in process of creating all of our statements.

The Fairy Godmother Project started after New Years with friends coming together wanting to make a difference in the community. We felt there was a way to do more and bring people together for great causes in the Nashville community. We hope in the coming years to be able to sponsor 2-3 projects a year. Our first project will be associated with the Donate My Dress campaign which assists young women around the country to find the prom dress of their dreams. Please join us as we start this new journey.
