Faith Hospital, Inc
Faith Hospital, Inc was founded in January 2008 as a nonprofit organization in Orlando, Florida. While the organization has been in business since the beginning of 2008, Faith Hospital received its official 501 (c) (3) status on December 12th, 2009. This grassroots program attempts to alleviate the negative impacts that a lack of proper healthcare has placed upon those members of the Haitian community in Port-au-Prince and the surrounding rural areas.
Faith Hospital, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to serve and advocate for the Haitian community by ensuring access to health care services regardless of income, insurance status, or language. As an important part of this mission, we provide services our services in the Haitian native language of Creole
Haiti is the poorest nation in the Western Hemisphere. Despite living in material poverty, the people of Haiti have an enormous amount of endurance, hope and dignity, as well as deep spiritual faith, but they need help in this fight against extreme poverty. Deficient sanitation systems, poor nutrition, and inadequate health services have pushed Haiti to the bottom of the World Bank?s rankings of health indicators.
