For over 22 years, Resurrection House has successfully empowered families living in Tampa Bay, Florida to become productive, independent, and self reliant. We provide a programs, including: planning for success and goal setting with regular case management; family counseling; life skills training (budgeting, job search, parenting, etc.); education/enrichment programs for children & adults; spiritual development; transitional housing on our beautiful campus. Following the same self-sufficiency model we stipulate for our homeless families, Resurrection House does not accept any government funding and raises all funds from private sources--individuals, churches, foundations, and businesses. Your support helps change lives--one family at a time. Our offices are open 9 a.m.- 5 p.m., Mon-Thursday.
The mission of Florida Resurrection House, Inc., is to provide a community, faith-based, transitional housing and self-sufficiency program for motivated families with minor children who are homeless or at risk of being homeless. We will equip participants witht he skills to lead stable, self-sufficient lives, including offering services intended to end the cycle of poverty for participating minor chldren. We will assist participants physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. We will help participants become tax-paying, contribution members of the community that has supported them. We will accomplish our mission with no government funding.
We are a Christian, faith-based program started in 1987 by the major denomination downtown churches in St. Petersburg, FL.
