FONUDI-Uganda

Focus on Northern Uganda Development Initiative (FONUDI-Uganda) is a youth led, non-political, non-denominational, nonprofit making community based organization that was established to facilitate the recovery and development of Northern Uganda from the 23 years long war. This war left this area in a sorry state today charged with our main mandates to engage, mobilize, support and involve different development stake holders in pursuing social-economic recovery and development. Other initiatives include access to justice, peace and equality for extremely vulnerable persons within communities. This is done by involving and integrating the contribution of extremely vulnerable children, youth, widows, persons with disabilities (PWDs), child mothers, orphans, people living with HIV/AIDS/ TB, war victims, local religious and cultural leaders in determining their destiny.
