Foot 2 Afrika Tanzania

Foot2Afrika Tanzania is a Tanzanian non-profit organization started in 2006 by Sadock Johnson and Emmason Godson.  Johnson and Godson are local Tanzanians who run a successful safari business, Foot2Afrika Adventures.   Note: Foot2Afrika Adventures and Foot2Afrika Tanzania are separate organizations.  For clarity, “Foot2Afrika” will be used to describe the non-profit organization, Foot2Afrika Tanzania.

 In response to the needs of their community, particularly the large number of orphans and street youth, Johnson and Godson founded Foot2Afrika to support local orphanages and centers for street youth, as well as other community non-profits.  The organization provides material support and advice to over 9 community organizations, and places international volunteers into different schools, orphanages and centers.  The organization is supported by income from a hostel for volunteers and from the safari company.  Foot2Afrika was a founding supporter of Youth center, and Johnson is a board member of an grass root organization.
