Organization Description:

Genesis Conservation Ideas (GCI) is a locally based non-profit, non- political organization, created nearly four years ago by a group of five Ugandans, who on looking at how environmental issues were handled in the country, ?where once abundantly forested homeland was seriously denuded?, felt concerned to take part in collecting and developing ideas, to help mitigate climatic change challenges, and equally important, demonstrating the economic value of a green environment in sustainable development , creating positive outcomes for future generations.

GCI is focusing on helping and improving the livelihoods in communities of physically or emotionally challenged, especially in those areas that are most affected. Sustainable economic growth in rural communities is the key strategy. Our obligation is to have beneficiaries in the countryside inevitably echo in the economy of the nation as a whole. Focusing on Genesis 1:1-3 (Continue with God's work of creation and Establish His Plan for the Earth)
