GMC was created by two unemployed journalists. The organisation's name is registered with the registrar of Business Names in Kampala, Uganda. Orignally the organisation was created to cater for editorial work, but as jobs did not appear, the creators diversified into doing everything and today we are planning to develop a database for storing all information on local medicinal plants by which the peopl eof Butaleja have survived for generations.
