Global Outreach Mission Inc.
We are an inter-denominational foreign missionary organization founded in 1943 by evangelist James Stewart. We are dedicated to carrying out the Great Commission of Jesus Christ located in Matthew 28:19-20. Presently we are serving the LORD in over 45 countries around this globe. Each Missionary is free to follow the Lord's leading in determining effective methods of ministry to accomplish this objective.
A Global Philosophy
We are firm in the belief that the mission field of EVERY CHRISTIAN is the world. Home and foreign missions are natural partners in Christian ministry. Through evangelism, our goal is to plant local churches and develop national leadership.
A Global Methodology
Global Outreach missionaries serving around the globe are engaged in a wide variety of ministries including: church planting, Christian camps, personal work, literature, radio broadcasts, community development, and medical work. Global Outreach Mission representatives have liberty to follow their conviction, and the direction of the Holy Spirit, in choosing methods for communicating the message. Around the world we are using mobile chapels, bookshops, camps, street evangelism and other methods depending on each situation.
* We believe the Bible to be verbally inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
* We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son & Holy Spirit.
* We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
* We believe that all men have sinned and for the salvation of the lost and sinful men, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
* We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
* We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
* We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
