Global Xpress Kids Club

Organization Description:

The Global Xpress Kids Club launched in August 2007 as a mailbox club for children aged 5 years old and up, and has since expanded as a Sunday School Curriculum.

Through monthly magazines focused on a single country, children are engaged in various activities and articles that teach them about culture and spiritual issues around the globe.

The Global Xpress serves kids and churches across the United States.

Mission Statement:

We aim to disciple children for God's global kingdom by grabbing their attention for God's glory, growing their understanding of global issues, and gaining momentum for increasing "glocal" action.

Organizational Statement of Faith:

Core Values

We believe

~that missions exists where the Church does not. The Christian concern is that God receive the glory due His Name within every ethnic group on earth.

~that the Bible is a missionary book, one continuous story from Genesis to Revelation which portrays God ƒ‚?s global plan to establish clusters of believers in reproducing groups within every ethnic group on earth.

~that Jesus ƒ‚? words in Acts 1:8 provide a mandate for the Church for all time that encompasses both local outreach and cross-cultural mission at the same time.

~that compassion for needy people close at hand, where opportunity to hear the Gospel abounds, does not exempt Christians from participating in the worldwide missionary advance especially to people who have little or no opportunity to hear of Jesus Christ.

~that God wants all Christians to share His heartbeat for the world by becoming either "go-ers," "senders," "welcomers," "pray-ers," "mobilizers," or some combination of the four.

~that every Christian is a witness for Christ wherever he is. Not every Christian is a missionary, that is, one who carries the Gospel cross-culturally. The first has ministry where the church exists. The other takes the Gospel where the church does not exist or where the church still needs outside resources to become well established.

~that God blesses His children so that they may bless others. To hoard His blessing is to risk losing it, keeping others from knowing God personally.

~that, above all other resources, prayer is the most effective way to participate in God's global cause. In a right relationship with God, a believer prays, strengthening his faith in God's sovereign plan, his obedience to God's law of love, and his hope of eternal life.

Statement of Faith:

1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

2. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

3. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, In His ascension to the right hand of the Father and in His personal return in power and glory.

4. We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful people regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.

5. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

6. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the saved unto the resurrection of life and the lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

7. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
