GOSACHU is a non government organization, which was established in April 2004 as a community based and officially launched on 15th June 2005, with the aim of upholding the sanctity of human life by meeting the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of children, women, men and generally people facing welfare problems through a participatory approach with the grass root communities, to ensure that they have improved livelihoods. It is local Founded NGO not affiliated to any religious body but Christian founded. Its work and directives is based on the Christian scripture about the good Samaritan. GOSACHU is now fully registered with the Non Government Organizations board of the government of Uganda with a charity registration number S5914/10036. GOSACHU implements its activities in the Slum areas of Kampala and rural areas of Wakiso, Rakai, and Kyankwanzi Districts.GOSACHU has got an orphanage home in wakiso District caring and housing 120 Orphans and Vulnerable children.
