GRIP Outreach For Youth

Organization Description:

GRIP Outreach for Youth is a Christ centered 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization created to address the growing epidemic of "fatherlessness" and its consequences on youth in the inner-city. Statistically, fatherless teens show an increased risk for gang activity, violence, drug and alcohol dependence, sexual abuse, high school dropout, teen pregnancy, etc. GRIP leverages sports, hip-hop music, and media arts programs to connect Christian mentors with fatherless youth to disciple them and empower them to positively contribute to society, their communities, their churches and their families.
