Group Workcamps Foundation
The Group Workcamps Foundation (GWF) exists as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization to serve churches by providing Christian mission trips that help children, youth and adults grow in their relationship with Jesus. The Foundation is located in Loveland, Colorado (Where the history of the Group service missions program began!).
Each year, youth groups prove to us that nothing ignites spiritual growth like putting Christian faith into action. The results are amazing as students get away from their home and travel to a community with a desire to serve God. As students serve people in Christ's name (and with a little guidance and nurturing), they grow in faith and character-and have loads of fun at the same time!
On short term mission trips from the Group Workcamps Foundation, you'll find the "service" is secondary to "spiritual growth". The #1 goal is to provide an opportunity for God to work in the hearts of your young people. The byproduct is great service for people in need.
