Guardian Angel Hospice

Organization Description:

As you embark on lifes final journey, the clutterthe everyday distractionsbegin to disappear. Your possessions, your achievementsthey are important, but when it comes down to it, it is people that matter most. Providing personalized care tailored specifically to you and your loved ones needs, Guardian Angel Hospice strives to make the most of the time you spend with those that mean the most to you. This can be an overwhelmingly challenging time. Depend on us to be your trusted partner and guide.

Of all the disciplines in the caregiving industry, hospice stands out for one reason: It is all about the care. It may sound cliché or even surprising, but hospitals, assisted living facilities, etc.they serve multiple purposes, have many different goals and answer to varied interests. Guardian Angel Hospice has a singular purpose: caregiving. We are caregiving experts to those with a life-limiting disease.

Rather than focusing on one specialty like medical care, hospice takes a holistic approach. While pain medication may provide comfort to some in certain circumstances, being read to from a religious text may provide that same level of comfort to another. The comprehensive selection of services we offer allows us to confidently provide excellent, patient-specific care.

We were founded in 2001 by a group of hospice professionals with a conviction that Central Indiana deserved a higher level of hospice care, and that they could deliver it. These Founding Angels resolved to run their organization based on five values: Professionalism, Teamwork, Stewardship, Integrity and Service.

It is the people and the relationships that make this organization work. We continue to be locally owned and operated by dedicated members of the community. Our owners are available on a daily basis to answer questions or address concerns. All calls are answered by a member of our staff at a local office 24 hours a day. We are always available to provide you and your loved ones with excellent care.

Our History

In 2001, a group of hospice professionals calling themselves The Founding Angels came together to start a new organization based on the belief that they could offer hospice care on a higher plane than any other in Central Indiana. The original group has evolved since that time, but the one constant that has remained is their determination to conduct their business by their stated values. These values are the guiding force of the organization and have been placed at the top of the organizational chart in order to emphasize their importance.

Guardian Angel Hospice is locally owned and operated with offices in Kokomo, Carmel, Lafayette and Logansport. Our focus is on providing services to persons in Central Indiana. Guardian Angel Hospice currently serves 30 counties: Benton, Blackford, Boone, Carroll, Cass, Clinton, Fountain, Fulton, Grant, Delaware, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Henry, Howard, Huntington, Madison, Marion, Miami, Montgomery, Parke, Pulaski, Putnam, Tippecanoe, Tipton, Vermillion, Wabash, Warren, Wells, and White.
