OUR MINISTRIES

1.Personal Evangelism

Jesus says in Matthew 28:19-20, "Go therefore and make disciples of

all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the

Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things I have

commanded you."Teaching the lost is the work the Lord has commanded

each of us to do. Today we are debtors to every non-Christian because

we have the good news that can save their soul.Paul says in Romans

1:14, "I am a debtor both to the Greeks and to the Barbarians, both to

the wise and to the unwise." This places us under obligation to share

the gospel with the lost so they can be saved.

2. Outreach Ministry

The ministry of Jesus Christ is an outreach ministry. Each of the

four Gospels ends with a commission from Christ to His church to

carry the Gospel message to the ends of the earth (Matt. 28:18-20;

Mark 16:15; Luke 24:46-49; John 20:21-23; and see Acts 1:8). G.V.M

international provides services to the hurting from all walks of life

with kindness and gentleness with respect to your intrinsic dignity

as a human being.

3.Pastors Conference & Leadership Classes

" Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the

LORD thy God which teaches thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the

way that thou shouldest go.? Isaiah 48:17. Leadership Classes are

organized every year to strengthen the preachers as well as the Church

Leaders in south India.

4. Gethsemane Prayer Ministries

We conduct Gethsemane Prayer Ministry in various local churches to

provide a deep understanding about Jesus? teaching on prayer for every

month and gather minimum 100 people from remote villages for training

and equipping to draw them closer to God and show them the power of

the prayer in every day life and create confidence in power of prayer.

Jesus said, " Ask and it shall be given you, seek; and ye shall find;

knock, and it shall be opened unto you" Matt 7:7. Faithful Christians

take prayer requests to the throne of grace always.

5. Campus Ministry

Young people are lost without knowing Jesus Christ, and their future

determines the future of our world They are in need of Christian

relationships and community. GVM Campus Ministry draws university

students into saving, meaningful relationships with God through Jesus

Christ. A typical GVM campus ministry includes small group Bible

studies; leadership training; fellowship, social activities, service

opportunities and missions focus and a weekly Bible study that brings

the whole community together for learning and worship.

6. Church Planting

Church planting is at the very heart of G.V.M ministry as it has been

from the beginning. As people hear the Gospel and respond to it,

churches are planted. Leaders are discipled, trained, and sent out.

Then a chain reaction begins among their own people that reaches

across their nation and out to the world.

7. Vocational Classes

Each individual, being created in the image of God, is of supreme

worth, the dignity and worth of the individual should be respected. We

provide vocational classes to encourage students, men and women to put

their trust in Christ, and to grow toward fullness and maturity in Him

and provide opportunities for citizenship training and character

development for effective participation in the family and society.

These classes lead them to the enrichment of their own life, through

their spiritual, moral, social, intellectual, Physical and aesthetic

development and give them an understanding the changing conditions in

the world from a Christian viewpoint, and to prepare them to think

through their obligations as Christians in new Situations.

8. Counseling through the telephone/personal touch with acounselor

Counseling is given for marriage, desolate and drug addicts and H.I.V

patients, many people who come from broken homes, some who are

battered wives, some who have terrible family problems, some are drug

addicts

9. Orphanage

The plights of children in orphanages are increasing. We provide help

to children in the Orphanages, ministries who are doing home based

care programm in order That they may grow and develop spiritually,

socially, emotionally, educationally, and physically and Become

dynamic servants of God, who will eventually reach others with the

Good News. Besides we assist parents whose children have high

potential but are underachievers. We meet poor families and help them

to Overcome poverty and hopelessness.

10. GVM disaster and response ministry

We are committed to provide foods, clothing, household needs. We have

built temporary houses,food, clothes . We provide medical camps and

conducts prayer cell. We have a good relationship with all these

people who are so grateful.

11. Evangelistic Crusades

Each year, we host numerous crusades in villages throughout

Kisumu,parts of Nyanza and Nairobi where we share the message of Jesus

to thousands of men, women, and children. With a strategy that

includes daytime social services and evening Gospel presentations with

music and films, we have participated in bringing thousands of people

into a relationship with Jesus. At the conclusion of each crusade, we

are diligent to connect people to a church in the local area or start

one if that is needed.
