There is a serious need to provide young people with partners and opportunities. Our young people are more than statistics; they are individuals who are eager to improve their lives and contribute positively to society once given the opportunity. We do not believe that youth charged as adults are a lost cause because we have seen their dedication to the program. The current statistics will not improve, however, unless something changes. Hand In Hand is part of that change and we fight hard every day to ensure that these boys do not slip through the cracks of a broken system!
