Hanson Place Campaign Against Hunger
Hanson Place Campaign Against Hunger is located in Brooklyn, New York and serves persons in needs from all five boroughs of New York City.
HPCAH is the social ministry arm of Hanson Place Central United Methodist Church and is located in the historic, downtown Brooklyn church.
As an urban ministry, HPCAH reaches a diverse community including youth, recent immigrants, elderly and the disabled.
Hanson Place Campaign Against Hunger is dedicated to serve those who are hungry. This is accomplished through a customer choice style food pantry, a job training program for at-risk youth and adults and a food stamp screening program.
HPCAH aims to serve God through servings others. To this end, our ministry is one of direct service. We are charged with John Wesley's own mission to service the poor, enlist others to serve the poor and to advocate for the poor.
