Organization Description:
Since 1972, Harbor House has offered after school tutoring, a summer camp program, youth leadership development programs, emergency food and clothing, economic development initiatives and ESL classes to youth and families in the San Antonio District in Oakland. This area has a large immigrant population and 91% of the students attending the local elementary school receive free lunches. While Harbor House is a Christian organization, we provide programs to everyone irrespective of race, national or ethnic origin, sexual orientation, gender or handicap.
