HARBOR LIGHT HOSPICE

Organization Description:

Harbor Light Hospice seeks to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of patients and families who are facing a life limiting illness. We focus on life and the quality of living, while accepting the reality of death as part of life. We provide comfort, companionship and active treatment of distressing symptoms, with the patient and their family as the focus of care. Services are provided by a team of professionals and volunteers who are physician directed and nurse coordinated. Comfort and coping resources are provided to the family for up to 13 months following the death of their loved one. "Family" is patient defined, and may include friends, significant others, life partners and relatives by blood or marriage.
