In all aspects of our work, Haven Community Services is committed to the example of the Good Samaritan in Luke 10, approaching every individual as an equal, believing in collective work and responsibility, taking our neighbors concerns as our own, creating environments of rest, refuge, and restoration for the betterment of our communities
Haven Community Services exists to provide care and leadership to improve the economic, social and educational conditions of underserved populations.
• We believe the Bible to be the authoritative Word of God.
• We believe that there is only one God, eternally existent as three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
• We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through his shed blood, in His bodily Resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return to Power and Glory.
• We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
• We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by who’s in dwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life.
• We believe that every Christian is mandated to reach the Lost and disciple them according to Matt. 28.
