Heart to Heart Hospice

Organization Description:

Hospice volunteers show their caring in many ways by visiting the patient and family at home, in the nursing home, or wherever the patient resides. If you are not interested in direct patient care, there are still many ways in which you can support the hospice team. Many of the hospice volunteers have first hand experience with a life-limiting illness either with a family member or close friend. This often helps prepare them for volunteer work by being sensitive and supportive to the family's needs. All volunteers receive training.
