Heart to Honduras
Thank you for your interest in Heart to Honduras! We are a Not For Profit Christian Organization that focusses our attention, funds and influence on the Central American country of Honduras. Since 1989 we have been working in poor, underdeveloped, rural communities in Honduras in an effort to disciple new believers, encourage those who are already believers and affect the poverty levels in a hurting and needy country. We focus our time and recourses in 5 key areas, although you will soon learn that these include an almost never ending supply of projects, people, communities, afflictions and ages. Heart to Honduras provides: FOOD FOR THE HUNGRY CLOTHING FOR THE NAKED HOUSING FOR THE HOMELESS HEALING FOR THE HURTING & HOPE FOR THE HOPELESS The Holistic nature of Heart to Honduras allows us to help widows and orphans, build homes for families, provide health care, train new leaders in the church and influences though around us for Christ! Heart to Honduras is a holistic ministry that is centered in Christ and resourced by passionate partners. We strive to meet the spiritual and physical needs of the poor in Honduras. We believe in God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, three in one. We believe that He is creator of all things aside from Himself, that He is eternal, sovereign, all-powerful, all-knowing, everywhere present, personal, holy, just, loving and continuously involved with and in His creation. We believe He has revealed Himself through His creation, His image in humankind, His inspired word and ultimately His Son, Jesus Christ. We believe that Jesus lived a perfect life as an example to us and gave His life as payment for our sins, that we might be reconciled to God. We believe that He rose from the dead to give us new life, and now resides at the Father’s right hand, having been made ruler over all things forever. We believe that all who truly believe in Him are delivered from the guilt and power of sin, empowered by the Holy Spirit to live new lives pleasing to God, and given the glorious hope of eternal life. We believe that Christ will return to bring a final end to evil and death, bring all things into account before God, and establish His eternal kingdom.
