Based in Chicago, Heart of a Thousand Hills (HOTH) is a registered 501(c)(3) charity organization. The mission of Heart of a Thousand Hills is to provide essential school supplies and uniforms for vulnerable children in Rwanda to support their educational pursuit. Founded in 2014 by Nina Iliza, who wanted to honor her mother, a victim of the Rwandan genocide of 1994, and to inspire current day orphans and street kids in Rwanda by supporting their pursuit of a proper education.
