Heritage House
Heritage House is an organization that services foster children in Louisville, Colorado. We primarily work with Boulder County but have also partnered with Denver, Jefferson, and Weld Counties. We are an eleven bed liscensed foster care center that houses teenage girls for as long as needed. We provide housing, food, education, counsel, and any other need that arises for a teenage girl.
Heritage House opened in 2003 as a dream come true for Mike and Jeanne Jones. The Jones's had many foster children in their own personal home before opening the doors of Heritage House to service foster children around the clock. We have seven team members who split the duties of raising these girls. At least one of us is there 24/7.
The function and purpose of Heritage House is to provide a nurturing and loving home for at-risk adolescent girls, ages 12 through 18, who, for various reasons, are unable to remain with their primary family. Through individual therapy, group therapy an dbehavioral reinforcement, Gems will be provided with a framework by which they can overcome the obstacles they have encountered in their lives. The Heritage House Program will implement, coordinate, and help develop services and treatment available through outside support.
