Organization Description:
The main work of HIS Foundation is to send short-term medical teams to China to provide free quality care for indigent patients from rural areas. The main teams include orthopaedic surgery, plastic surgery, internal medicine, and stroke rehabilitation. We provide both outpatient and inpatient care including surgeries. 100% of volunteers are Christians. Vast majority of volunteers are self-funded. In general only fully trained and fully licensed medical professionals are accepted as team members.
