About us

His mercy Children Center and Outreach is an orphanage and educational center, which provides basic vaccinations, education and psychological support to the AIDS orphans; abandoned children; and displaced children infected and affected by HIV/AIDS and wars. Many children of this category do not get their basic needs and yet their rights have been violated. His mercy Children Center and Outreach is devoted to support and care for these children in Uganda who do not have a chance to attend school therefore in this manner we help them in any possible way.

Thanks to the founder members of this project (HMCCO), now the children are able to attend school daily and receive special skills in life planning in many aspects. The center also instills the principles of non-violence and non-discrimination. The children become aware of human rights and, in particular, the rights of children.

The center also provides pre-school and primary education for children from poor families in the surrounding areas. Many of these children are orphans and others come from poor families and having been deprived of their rights, lack the ability to provide basic education for their.

While doing our work many people have been interested in helping or doing something for children, but were unsure of how to get involved. We realized that we had a great opportunity to connect these two worlds in which we live and work. Persons with resources to help out disadvantaged children around the world who desperately needs our support. And that is how the HMCCO came to be and many million of the children around the world have no access to their essential needs including education. The number continues to grow, but we are trying to change its direction, one child, and one word at a time. The lack of education and opportunity for education is a global issue, which needs tremendous support today and in years to come. We know it is not easy to change the world, but we believe that if someone changes one life, we can change the whole world a better place to be.
